Sparkling Spider

Little Miss Muffet was afraid of spiders. Consequently conventional wisdom suggests that all girls should be afraid of spiders.

Of course, if we're seeking inspirational advice from nursery rhymes and fairy tales, we can all rest assured that we're destined to end up with a handsome prince.

Life being what it is the average girl is more likely to wind up with three bears or doing the cooking and cleaning for seven dwarfs - especially if she likes wearing heels.

Yet regardless of what fairy tales and nursery rhymes claim to have in store for us, there's no reason for any girl to be startled by this particular arachnid.

This black eyed diamante spider ring is a stunning piece that is guaranteed to sparkle and catch the eye and also strike fear into the heart of any unwanted admirer who seeks to get too close.

We can't guarantee that wearing this ring will enable you to spin a silken web of intrigue and mystery and leave your prey helpless, but we do know that anyone lucky enough to feel this delightful spider's touch will instantly lose any fear of creepy crawlies.

What's more, at just £9.99, this sparkly spider is even cheaper than the average bowl of curds and whey, so there's no excuse for all you glamour girls, black widows and Miss Muffet-wannabes not to add this piece to your collection!

A Big Thank You For A Big Weekend

We'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the organisers of the Big Weekend at Pink Punters.

We had a lovely time and would like to thank everyone who put so much hard work into making it a real success. Thank you also to everyone who stopped by to see us.

We're already looking forward to the next event and can't wait for our next trip to Pinks.

In the meantime we will be back on the road in our familiar location at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds for the next First Friday event.

We're bringing the bling and have plenty of new items that we feel sure will put a spring in your step and a glint in your eye as you prepare for the party season, so stop by and see us on Friday night.

The Big Weekend

Well, girls, we hope you're ready for a long weekend of partying.

This weekend we're heading south to Pink Punters for the Big Weekend extravaganza.

It promises to be a fantastic event, kicking off on Friday 14th and then spilling over into the early hours before the girls regroup and reconvene for round two on Saturday afternoon.

Glamour & Sparkle will be there on Saturday - we'll also be there on Friday night, sashaying rhytmically across the dancefloor with a glass of something fizzy and fruity in hand - and we'll be bringing plenty of goodies with us.

In addition to a wide range of earrings, bracelets and brooches, we'll be unveiling our latest collection of evening sets and tiaras.

We have some beautiful pieces on offer - just the ticket if you're looking for something to ensure you stand out at the Enigma Ball in November.

So whether you're looking for a choker you'd be choked to miss out on, a tiara to bring bitter tears of jealousy to the eyes of your friends or diamantes to die for, drop by and see us on Saturday afternoon!

We look forward to seeing you this weekend - check out the Pink Punters website for more details.

A Tiara Worth A Tantrum

There comes a moment in every girl's life when she needs to take a good long look in the mirror and decide whether she wants to be queen for a day or is simply destined to spend the prime of her life schlepping around in the gutter.

If you don't like what you see in the mirror, fear not! There's no need for moping or sulking because any girl can transform herself into royalty with the right accessories.

As we always say at Glamour & Sparkle, accessorise don't compromise!

And accessories don't come any more regal than this stunning tiara. Whether you've dreamt of looking like a fairy princess or are ready to rule the roost as the queen of the prom, this majestic crystal and diamante tiara is for you.

Pippa Middleton might not have been jealous of her sister marrying a prince but she'd be ready to claw poor Kate's eyes out if big sister got her hands on this tiara. Indeed, not a lot of people know that the Middleton girls made a pact when they were younger - Kate got first dibs on royalty but Pippa got the pick of the designer bling.

So, girls. Don't miss your chance to grab a tiara that would grace the brow of any princess and put a smile on the face of any queen - Elton would throw a tantrum if he didn't get his hands on this one.

Alice's Wonder Band

It's always struck me that Alice was rather a lucky girl.

After all, she merely had to step through the looking glass into her own private wonderland.

On top of that she's synonymous with one of Australia's most famous towns and even had a city named after her in Texas (and given the choice any girl would prefer to live in Alice, Texas instead of Austin, Texas).

And then we have the Alice band.

How many girls are lucky enough to have an item of jewellery named after them?

Bobby Pin, anyone? Hardly the most glamorous of inventions and if you're a woman having to go through life named after Bobby Charlton, it's fair to say your luck's out.

However, no matter if you have a nasty name like Ermintrude or a pretty girly name like Lexie, you can still enjoy our gorgeous Alice bands.

This stylish piece has a double diamante design and is certain to add a touch of style to any hairdo and ensure you enjoy your rightful place in the spotlight.

Any girl will love this; and if you happy to be an Alice you'll be doubly happy to sparkle in a band named just for you.

Provided you're not Alice Cooper, of course...

Bringing The Glamour To Sparkle

This weekend we will be bringing the Glamour to Sparkle as we travel to Manchester for this year's national transgender celebration.

It might be a far cry from Miami or Monaco but this weekend the only party that matters will be taking place in Manchester.

We will be braving anything and everything the British summer can throw at us, to bring you a stunning array of our latest range of jewellery.

On Saturday the magical Glamour & Sparkle Boutique will be in residence at Sparkle in the Park, so drop by and pay us a visit.

Rest assured we have something for everyone this weekend. We have some delicious new products, ranging from the stylish and understated to the glamorous and chic to a few specially selected tip-top and over the top pieces for those who dare to make a statement.

It promises to be a fantastic weekend, so dig out your pink wellies and your rainbow brollies and sashay through the puddles to see us.

It'll be worth it!

Shiny And New

Well, we've made it through the wilderness. Somehow we've made it through.

Yes, after one or two technical glitches, we are delighted to announce that the brand new Glamour & Sparkle website is now fully operational.

Shiny and new, and guaranteed to make you feel like a veritable shopping virgin as you explore our fantastic brand new range of jewellery and accessories, our new site is waiting for you to visit us at your earliest convenience.

In addition to some gorgeous new items, we are celebrating the launch of our new site with some amazing half-price special offers.

So whether you're looking to save money for a rainy day (and let's face it right now there's not much point saving for a sunny day) and fancy bagging a bargain, or feel like treating yourself to something that's guaranteed to put a silver lining into the black clouds that have wrecked your parasols and summer dresses, drop by and see us.
