Bringing The Glamour To Sparkle

This weekend we will be bringing the Glamour to Sparkle as we travel to Manchester for this year's national transgender celebration.

It might be a far cry from Miami or Monaco but this weekend the only party that matters will be taking place in Manchester.

Leeds Masquerade Ball

You might fear for my reason, I don't care what they say, look out baby it's the season, for the mad masquerade.

Appropriately enough it was that legendary queen, the one and only Freddie Mercury, who penned those sentiments. One can only assume La Mercury would have given his whole-hearted approval to this Friday's Transgender Masquerade Ball.

Following the success of our trip to Blackpool last week - admittedly the most successful thing about it was that we weren't swept out to sea, avoided contracting pneumonia and, most importantly of all, didn't end up with streaked mascara in the rain - the Glamour & Sparkle boutique on wheels is heading for Calderdale Pride on Saturday.

It would be nice to report that we will simply be clicking our heels and magically appearing in the Piece Hall in Halifax. Unfortunately one of our ruby heels was last seen floating out to sea at Blackpool, so we're going to have to make do with loading the car with as much high class bling as we can lay our hands on.
