Held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Leeds, a familiar venue to all those who have previously sampled the delights of Leeds First Friday, this promises to be an extravagant and unmissable night out.

It's a night for ball gowns, glass slippers, plumes, feathers, boas, false eyelashes and the most ostentatious accessories you can lay your hands on.

Following the success of our trip to Blackpool last week - admittedly the most successful thing about it was that we weren't swept out to sea, avoided contracting pneumonia and, most importantly of all, didn't end up with streaked mascara in the rain - the Glamour & Sparkle boutique on wheels is heading for Calderdale Pride on Saturday.

It would be nice to report that we will simply be clicking our heels and magically appearing in the Piece Hall in Halifax. Unfortunately one of our ruby heels was last seen floating out to sea at Blackpool, so we're going to have to make do with loading the car with as much high class bling as we can lay our hands on.

Jubilee Weekend

All roads lead to Leeds for the start of a hectic Jubilee weekend for Glamour & Sparkle.

We have a fantastic range of new stock to help mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and will be in our customary spot in the Cosmopolitan Hotel to provide you with any last minute jewellery supplies you may have this Friday night.

Although we don't have any tiaras we're sure you won't be throwing a tantrum when you see our great new range.
