Diamonds And Demons

It's close to that time of year again where failing to dress up in something suitably outrageous and fun is little short of a dereliction of one's duty as a girl.

The occasional pair of comfy shoes can be excused as a necessary evil and Bridget Jones pants can be regarded as just about acceptable in the direst wardrobe emergency.

However, when a girl turns her back on Halloween and passes up the chance to cast a spell over her dream man, then she forfeits her basic Female Rights.

Female Rights are a bit like Human Rights only more fun (and have absolutely nothing to do with real witches like Cherie Blair).

A girl's inalienable Female Rights include the right to bear mascara and lipstick; the right to carry a gorgeous handbag and the right not only to wear, but to look damn good in doing so, a short skirt.

Anyway, it's Halloween. So it's a time for naughty witches and sexy bitches, for slutty pumpkins and girls who like sins, for Snow Whites and Cinderellas and the girls who like the fellas to break out their most outrageous fancy dress costumes and enjoy a night to remember.

Of course, anyone can wear a costume. But can they accessorise it correctly?

Somewhere in the back of her wardrobe, our very own Lexie Lixx has a glamorous musketeer outfit - the girl has always been rather adept at handling a sword. On its own the outfit makes her look like the darling of 17th century Paris.

But throw in the right accessories - a pearl choker here, the right earrings there - and the girl would have D'Artagnan snapping his sword in his enthusiasm to get to grips with her.

Not that he'd have much luck; our girl may have a penchant for French lingerie and perfume but when it comes to the French themselves it's a definite, "Non, monsieur," with the possibility of a, "Peut-etre, mademoiselle," depending on how much Chardonnay she's sunk.

Anyway, the point is that the right accessories can take all you horny devils to higher levels when it comes to applying the finishing touches to your Halloween outfit.

Glamour & Sparkle are delighted to announce that we have a fantastic range of Halloween-themed jewellery available this year.

We've got skull rings and bracelets, coiled snake rings that will help you wrap your prey around your finger and a wide choice of seductive spider jewellery that will help you weave a web of intrigue and leave the world at your mercy.

So check out our exciting range (we don't do cauldrons) and allow us to help you cast a spell this year.

The devil's in the detail, girls.

Sparkling Spider

Little Miss Muffet was afraid of spiders. Consequently conventional wisdom suggests that all girls should be afraid of spiders.

Of course, if we're seeking inspirational advice from nursery rhymes and fairy tales, we can all rest assured that we're destined to end up with a handsome prince.

Life being what it is the average girl is more likely to wind up with three bears or doing the cooking and cleaning for seven dwarfs - especially if she likes wearing heels.

Yet regardless of what fairy tales and nursery rhymes claim to have in store for us, there's no reason for any girl to be startled by this particular arachnid.

This black eyed diamante spider ring is a stunning piece that is guaranteed to sparkle and catch the eye and also strike fear into the heart of any unwanted admirer who seeks to get too close.

We can't guarantee that wearing this ring will enable you to spin a silken web of intrigue and mystery and leave your prey helpless, but we do know that anyone lucky enough to feel this delightful spider's touch will instantly lose any fear of creepy crawlies.

What's more, at just £9.99, this sparkly spider is even cheaper than the average bowl of curds and whey, so there's no excuse for all you glamour girls, black widows and Miss Muffet-wannabes not to add this piece to your collection!
